My Urdu book titled ( Parda uthadoon agar chehra e alfaaz se which basically deals with words and its etymology) was first published at IFT Chennai in the year 2003. The book was well received by academicians and litterateurs and got appreciation from a few academic journals and magazines too. Two years after its first edition, in the year 2005, Baitul hikmat from Lahore, Pakistan published its second edition. well known scholar and its director, late Abdul Jabbar have wrote in detail the introduction of the author and a well researched article on etymology in the preface. Due to the book’s fame, and constant motivation from language enthusiasts, I was obliged to write another book and hence this book called Gulistan-e-Alfaz-wa- Maani. I earnestly hope that like my previous book, this book too will get the desired appreciation and be beneficial to its readers.
